For all my scrapbook friends....... My dad and step mum incorporated into a scrapbook created using serif craft artist.See Daisytrail.
Hello, Here we go, I am new to the blogger scene and I thought it would be a good way to start the new year and share one of my hobbies. I am a lover of all things Art and crafty. I enjoy a variety of crafts and Art. But I want to focus more on my own art work & designs, incorporating them into digital scrapbooks.
I did some art at school in my spare time and wasn't encouraged to take it up as a genuine subject as I did the sciences. It is only now 30 years on, that I have started developing my creative side again. I have taken up drawing and painting, card making, scrap-booking( digitally and generally trying out new things). I am a quite detail orientated person and I am finding some of the mediums hard to work with, but I have just started using pencils and have been amazed at what I have been able to do, the detail side of me loves the nature of graphite- so receptive. My next thing will have to be improving my photography!! This blog is here to capture the ups and downs I have in trying to make my mark. Art in graphite, will show my progress in graphite work, but don't be surprised to see other non graphite items lurking here too.
I hope you enjoy reading and seeing my creations.
Best wishes for an eventful 2012! Here's to you looking at my work :-)
